Late-night eating in Orlando
Orlando is a shift-work city. Hotels, hospitals, theme parks, and convention halls all run past midnight, and the restaurants that serve those workers are the reason late-night eating here is better than it looks from the outside. It is concentrated in two places: Mills 50, where several Asian kitchens keep going well past the hour anyone else stops, and downtown around Church Street and Wall Street, where the food follows the bars.
A caution specific to this list: closing times move constantly, and we do not publish hours we have not verified against the restaurant. Every entry here is on the list because late service is part of what it is known for — not because we can guarantee the door will be open at 1am on the night you go. Call, or check the restaurant's own channels.
01
Shin Jung
KoreanMills 50, Orlando$$
The default late answer in Mills 50. Grilled meats, stews, banchan, and soju in a room that fills up after other kitchens have closed.
02
Izziban Sushi & BBQ
KoreanMills 50, Orlando$$
All-you-can-eat Korean barbecue and sushi, which is a specific kind of late-night decision. Groups only.
03
Pom Pom's Teahouse
EclecticMills 50, Orlando$
Sandwiches, soup, and a garden patio, run by people who understand that the best sandwich of your week might happen at midnight.
04
Hunger Street Tacos
MexicanMills 50, Orlando$
House masa and Mexico City-style fillings. A late taco with real tortillas is a different thing from a late taco.
05
Tako Cheena
Asian FusionMills 50, Orlando$
Chinese-Mexican fusion, cheap, fast, and open when you need it. The wonton nachos are a late-night food in the purest sense.
06
Tin & Taco
MexicanDowntown, Orlando$
Downtown, funky, and built for the after-bar crowd. Creative tacos rather than traditional ones.
07
Pepe's Cantina
Tex-MexDowntown, Orlando$
A Church Street dive with margaritas and nachos, which is the entire brief and it meets it.
08
Stubborn Mule
AmericanDowntown, Orlando$$
Wall Street rooftop with gastropub food and a bar that keeps serving. Good for a group that cannot agree.
09
The Monroe
AmericanDowntown, Orlando$$$
Rooftop views over Lake Eola, cocktails, and a kitchen that runs later than the dining-room crowd suggests.
10
Tori Tori
JapaneseMills 50, Orlando$$
Yakitori and a proper cocktail list in a dark room — the most civilized option on this list after 11pm.
11
The Hatchery
AmericanMills 50, Orlando$$
A Mills 50 food hall with rotating vendors and a central bar, so the answer to 'what is still open' changes by the month.
The short version: Mills 50 if you want to eat well, downtown if you want to be out. Shin Jung and Pom Pom's are the two places locals name first, and both earn it.
If a kitchen on this list has changed its late service, tell us through the contact page and we will check it and update.
