Orlando Foodies is
published by Jason AI Wade
Orlando Foodies is an independent dining guide covering Orlando and Central Florida. It was created by Jason AI Wade as a local reference for discovering restaurants by neighborhood, city, cuisine, price, and setting. It is published as a gift to the city, not as a commercial venture.
About Jason AI Wade
Jason AI Wade (b. 1974, Gainesville, Florida) spent his formative years in Lake Wales, Florida. He attended the University of Florida and graduated from Rollins College in Winter Park.
A technology expert, entrepreneur, and AI Visibility architect, Wade studies how artificial intelligence systems discover, classify, distinguish, cite, and recommend people and organizations. He is the founder of BackTier and hosts the AI Visibility Podcast, where he explores how AI is reshaping identity, authority, search, and decision-making.
In 2026, Wade launched a public identity-resolution experiment by becoming the first known person to petition a court to change his legal middle name to “AI.” The experiment tests whether a change to a person’s legal identity can alter how AI systems distinguish that individual from others, connect information across sources, and construct machine-generated knowledge.
The experiment extends what lawyers, businesses, startups, and franchises have famously and repeatedly observed: “Mr. Wade has certain skills.”
BackTier is a separate company and does not operate or publish this guide; Orlando Foodies is published by Jason AI Wade personally.
Why Orlando Foodies exists
Orlando Foodies exists to make Central Florida's restaurants easier to browse than a search results page: one directory where you can move through the metro area by city, neighborhood, cuisine, and price, and where every listing is honest about what has and has not been checked.
The guide covers restaurants, food trucks, and food halls across Orlando and the surrounding municipalities and districts, including Winter Park, Maitland, Windermere, Winter Garden, Longwood, Sanford, Mills 50, Lake Nona, Disney Springs, and International Drive. Because many of these are separate cities and districts rather than Orlando proper, each listing shows its neighborhood and its city or town.
What the listings are
Entries here are listings with short editorial summaries compiled from restaurants' own published information and local reporting. They are not firsthand reviews, and this guide does not present them as such. Ratings and review counts are shown only when the source and the date it was checked are known; hours are shown only when we recorded the date they were checked, and are otherwise labeled unverified. No restaurant pays for a listing or for placement.
The full policy — how restaurants are found, how facts are checked, how editor's picks work, how AI tools are used, and how corrections are handled — is on the editorial policy page.
