What the 2026 Michelin Guide Florida says about Orlando's dining scene
The 2026 Michelin Guide Florida, announced on May 28, 2026, recognized more than 60 Orlando-area restaurants, according to Visit Orlando: one two-star restaurant, five one-star restaurants, 14 Bib Gourmands and 41 Recommended venues.
Sorekara in Baldwin Park kept its two stars. Statewide, Sorekara and L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon in Miami are the only two-star restaurants, per OpenTable's list of 2026 Florida stars. Camille, Kadence, Omo by Jont, Soseki and Victoria & Albert's kept one star each.
Orlando Weekly's Faiyaz Kara observed that every Orlando restaurant holding a star this year is a Japanese restaurant, a tasting-menu restaurant, or both. He also reported that Capa and Papa Llama lost their stars and moved to the Recommended list, and that Natsu, which also lost its star, has closed.
The value tier is concentrated in neighborhoods rather than resort corridors. Four of the 14 Orlando Bib Gourmands listed by Visit Orlando are in Mills 50: Banh Mi Boy, The Strand Food & Drink, UniGirl and Zaru. Others sit in Audubon Park, the Milk District, Curry Ford West, Baldwin Park, Millenia and Winter Garden. Kaya, also in Mills 50, kept its Green Star for sustainability practices.
Recognition also reached beyond the city core. Visit Orlando lists six new Recommended additions, including 1921 Mount Dora in Lake County, alongside June and Osteria Ester in Thornton Park and Sparrow in the North Quarter District.
